There was no Sandals when we were there but we made great contacts every time we visited. We were divers and more than once had a party with members of the crew. Usually young and always dark skinned. The small local bars were more than once a place to find extra men. The tourist bars were not as good. I don't know about sandals but most of the resorts usually had restrictions on locals that were not employees. A taxi driver took us on a tour and we went to beaches frequented by locals and a few bars . It was my favorite island and we went to all of them that had good diving.
We had good luck with water team staff but our butlers were all to scared online their jobs as the island had just reopened from Covid. She has had good luck with butlers at the other islands we stayed at with Sandals. We are going to Grenada and staying at Sandals again there.

Go for a walk towards Dover beach .. there's a couple of small bars where the locals goes ... We got absolutely hounded
