Bad back. Any suggestions?

You're doing well lying flat on the floor. Keep the aching region warm. Try to move/stretch but immediately stop if the pain becomes too much. An exercise i can recommend is while lying on your back to lift one leg (angled) and try to move it over the other (stretched) leg to the other side as far as you can (ideally until it touches the ground) while at the same time doing the same with the opposite side (stretched) arm. So right leg to the left and left arm to the right, and vice versa. Obviously with a bad back you probably won't manage to go all the way but try as good as you can (important: without overdoing it!). You should feel increased agility, decreased tension and less pain as a result after a number of (torsion) exercises. But in any case, if problems don't go away or the symptoms become even more pronounced within the next one or two days, definitely see a physician! Regards.

Alot a great advice so far from them guys. We both suffer from back mid and lower back pain, she does yoga. Myself what helped a long with the stretching exercises like myway was talking about was, check your shoes, make sure they are the proper size and fit, with the insoles made to keep you from standing all jacked up, and helps you walk correctly.
Those and stretching really do help.
Went from eating ibuprofen like candy and muscle relaxers to maybe 2 ibuprofen in the morning and it's tolerable most of the time now.

try to find a gym with a reverse hyper machine, if not a glute ham raise machine, attach a resistant band and do reverse hypers (tutorials are on youtube). If the exercise is done properly it will alleviate lower back pain and strength the muscles.
