If you have an iPhone, you can make any website an app yourself.
At the bottom of the Safari browser, find and tap on the share icon on the menu bar – it looks like a box with an up arrow. From the list of share options, choose Add to Home Screen. An app-looking icon will pre-populate.

I think the reason it never will be is that the Apple store and the Google Play store do not allow explicit content. Nudity, intercourse Etc. Another poster said you can make any website an app. What I believe they are referring to is creating a shortcut to any site. As I have done for this site. You can do the same thing with Android. Just press "add to home screen" when you're on any particular site. Press the vertical three dots and the option to "add to home screen" should be there. It will offer you the option to add automatically or manually I generally use Auto.
