Sounds like you may be struggling with an "addiction" ... you can be addicted to anything ... most common however are *******, alcohol, gambling, food, porn, misuse of credit cards, etc ... you might wish to research/read up on identifying an addiction. Addictions usually require medical professional involvement; I'd suggest you talk with your doctor. My male neighbor (young couple in their late 20s) was addicted to "sensitive" porn, and was gone for 6 months to a reprograming clinic, similar to alcoholic detox. Its tough to beat addictions by yourself. Particularly if you are young ... under 35, and still developing your career and family, it can be majorly destructive. Don't be embarrassed to reach out to the professionals for help.
Best Of Luck to you ... ;)

I do the same every morning. The hardest part is getting up in the morning. What keeps me on track is whatever goals I have for myself for each workout I have planned.

.... since you mention this topic about motivation.. I've been reading some about this topic (motivation) and what leads to having a good amount of it. Based on that, and partially own experience, I've come to believe that motivation is basically more dependent on brain chemistry than "willpower". Many studies show f.ex the effect of having either too low, or high enough dopamine, norepinephrine in our brain, and it's very clear that dopamine plays a very important role in generating this mindset we call for "motivation" .. of course.. you always have the "normal" way of creating this motivation through the repetition of the desired action and having the reward it should bring in some way, thus creating this link between action-reward... but creating this link is not always as easy as some want to propose in those motivational books, specially if the person is having very low levels of these chemicals.....

So, whats the solution...

In my case, I've had very good results using nootropics.. specially a combination that can target specific neurotransmitters in the brain responsible, among other things, of creating this balance that naturally creates an energetic, focused, motivated mind state. I dont want to appear like I'm trying to sell anything here.. but if you're interested in more specific info. I can provide general info. so you can read more, and eve. make your decision.
At least, for me this has worked very well..and not just to wake up early if so I choose, but to have the energy, focus, motivation to go through the day doing all the tasks I've planned, and work extra those days it may be needed.

Hope this helps !!

...******* for the "brain" can be really tricky ... maybe it works, but many come with side affects, such as men being unable to get or sustain an erection or to properly ejaculate. I hear they are improving, but mind chemistry supplements often have some kind of alt affect ... its just a matter of deciding whether creating one problem to releave another is worth the trade.
...A male relative of mine was taking "over the counter" ******* to increase his testosterone and libido levels and it caused his potassium level in his ******* to rise and he had a mild heart attack from them. So it might be wise, if taking meds, to at least pass it by your doctor first ... particularly if you are older, have health issues, or taking other medications.

Hi there.. Yes, its always best to be on the safe side. In my case, I did as much research as I could, and checked also with my doctor. The product I used was based on natural products sold otc, at least in the US, and the effects were good, and have built up over time. I've been using now for like 4-5 months and couldn't be happier. Besides motivation, there are also other functions we forget about sometimes.. I've also had good improvements learning, info. retention, cognition, and other related functions.
