You don't do anything you don't want to do. If you do something that hurts or you don't want to do it's your fault. It's always your decision as to what you do or don't do. I have no idea where you got your information. I was involved in both amateur and professional porn for years. We attended the AVN convention for many years. We always had a big party at our house after the convention. I was good friends with Nina Hartley and many other porn stars. While I'm sure there are some people who get involved in the business who are not prepared mentally, and who may have been traumatized. I've known literally thousands of people in the business. I don't know of one who would say they were traumatized. For me, it was the exact opposite. I attended so many parties that were way beyond the wildest fantasy you could imagine. I made money and had an amazing time doing exactly what I wanted to do. I have absolutely no regrets only amazing memories.

From what I’ve read, there are cases on both sides. I know some women have spoken out about bad experiences (Bonnie Rotten, for example), but others, like Carter Cruise and Jessie Andrews, have moved on to successful second careers with no regrets. And then there are those who stay in the business for 10 or even 20+ years. Can’t be too bad.
