Weren't these the subsidized apartments? Yes, so the rent bill was guaranteed by the federal government.
You made an excuse that even the Trumps didn't dare try- because again, the federal government sets the standards and the Trumps agreed to it, in order to get those inflated guaranteed rent subsidies.
Kind of a racist thing to say too, black renters were not rented to because they can't pay their bills. Fred Trump had admitted that his managers were not allowed to rent to blacks. That was part of the evidence that led to the biggest Housing Discrimination penalty to that date in the country. Lots of proof of racist practices.

Those ******* were saying they confessed under duress immediately, not years later. What kind of professional law enforcement organization interrogates children without a court advocate or attorney for a confession of a capital crime? NYC in the 1980s.

This says we're 31st. So that would be the 19th lowest. And as far as I know, our taxes haven't dramatically gone up since that article in June this year.
