Yes. You can find BBCs. Tampa's Eyes Wide Shut also has some good black dudes hanging in the hallways.
Trapeze is just north in Ft. Lauderdale and is a good one.
Um, been to Velvet and have to say PASS. It's too cliqui for one and it mostly has a Latin crowd which means that while the women are gorgeous, the guys have that whole macho attitude which turns women off. Black guys are confident not macho. Huge difference in my opinion.
