There was definitely some editing involved in the post production process in order to increase contrast.
Also they added some "artificial shade" around the female performer that helps with better setting her apart from the background and thus putting focus on her. i know a few companies that have adopted that style of editing and those are quite successful.Still i prefer natural lighting with "natural contrast" that ImO best supports the yin-and-yang aspect of dark masculinity physically involved with a hot, sexy Lady.
