I wonder if the porn industry has actually changed so much or if imaginations and statements made by those who have never even met the star they say is this or that. I admit i know nothing of that industry today. My interaction was in the very early 80"s when i was approached about making porn. I was invited to shoots and met quite a few of the actors in those productions. AT that time it was and i believe is still a business. The type of material made was what the market was buying. The interracial stuff was just getting off the ground and the thought was it's a good bet to produce more of it. Boy did that payoff big time. I know the females were paid a premium to appear in that type of stuff. At that time double or triple the money. At that time it was a profession or job, it was not the lifestyle those actors were living. Most of the females i met had significant others they lived with that were also female there preference obviously other women. Many of the male performers were gay or BI. There were of course straight performers who were single or had families supported by pornography. Who went home after work to their spouse.
Personally i doubt that has completely changed. There are a significant number of females who have made and sold a lot of a type of homemade porn. Jan B is still talked about.
