Just be polite and friendly. I'm confident that you'll find what you're looking for, perhaps not on property, but close by. I would suggest finding a beach away from the resort and possibly ask the front desk where a nice club might be that's relatively nearby.

Frequently, major operations like Sandals and the like have strict rules for their employees, which is why I suggest you go off property.

BTW - had my first Black experience in the Bahamas and it was wonderful!

Yes I would, without hesitation. The guys in the Bahamas appeared to be a lot less demanding and expecting than the guys in Jamaca. Just a general laid back attitude. The last thing a newby woman wants is a high pressure environment.
