FYI, I think you can still join SLS free. I have lifetime membership as it is cheaper in the long run. With a free profile you cannot do a lot but pretty sure you can view members, view events page(where parties and M&Gs listed)It will open your eyes to how many people in the valley are in the lifestyle, maybe you will see your neighbors LOL.
