Because mainstream america still can not handle it, and by that I mean white men. I'm white and the way I see it a lot of white men do not want to be watching tv with their wives and up pops a huge black dude in a love scene with a white woman. Before I started finding out how I was sexually I always grew uncomfortable with scenes like that in the movies because I worried my wife was aroused by it. And HBO comedy specials also gave me angst when comedians talked about black men being well endowed, there was always this awkward silence during their comments.

In all honesty when I'm watching mainstream TV I'm not watching it for the sex scenes though. When ever there is a sex scene I always wonder if it's necessary and if it would advance the plot or whatever.

If I'm interested in viewing interracial sex, I tend to just refer to porn videos.
