We are going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic later this month (August), and wondering if any other couples will be there on vacation? We wouldn't mind connecting and hanging out seeing what fun we can have together.

Not sure if it helps but we usually find it easier to make friends at the resort or hotel. On the plus side, you can physically meet them and get to know them alot better this way.
