Somebody is cranky and frustrated
Eat Protein Bar GIF by SnickersUK

I have no idea what his last post meant - do you ???

You do know that your subbating this is showing how you keep singing the Praises of this man he is your god your king what a fucking loser to support a fucking loser
He doesn't understand. They don't understand. It's why they think we must be deranged to not worship him.

Let alone the greatest political come-back in history !!!!
Don't insult our intelligence on basic American History. Grover Cleveland was elected again, after serving one term and losing to Chester Arthur. He then went on to lose to McKinley in the next race.

Richard Nixon, the sitting VP loss to JFK barely in 1960. Then loss the Governor's race in California in 1962 and was considered done and gone at 49 years old. Then in 1968, using the 'silent majority' (angry white folks over civil rights) and the 'southern strategy' (turn the race from Republican vs Democrat to the poor white man and regular americans vs blacks, hippies, and communists). That's a great political comeback, hate his politics or not.

Clinton was 32 when elected governor, and 34 when he was unelected, he came back and won six times in a row before running for president - that's a comeback. Finished third in Iowa and then all of the affairs came out, and was pretty much left for d/ead. Turned it around in NH and went on to be President - a popular president that oversaw the longest expansion of peace and prosperity in history.

Joe Biden was elected to the US Senate when he was officially too young to serve at 29. He ran for President 3 times before he was selected as VP. Served two terms and then didn't even get support from his boss, Obama (who told him two years prior that he and Michelle would be endorsing Hillary), so old Joe went back home. Four years later, he wins with the most votes in history.

The Roosevelt cousins have a claim to the comeback story as well. Others like Andy Jackson, Filmore, Tyler, Hoover and more have interesting stories to tell too.

Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but he tweeted in September that he believes “government should rarely impose its will upon the people, and, when doing so, should aspire to maximize their cumulative happiness. That said, I would prefer to stay out of politics.”

That didn't age well. Less than two years ago, Musk was offering transportation out of Texas for abortions, even with the law stating that any woman leaving the state for an abortion will be arrested when she returns.
The unprecedented influence of a man with so little connection to the average American is just unimaginable. Henry Kissinger was considered too influential over Nixon's policies, that was nothing compared to Musk.
Since I'm not a tRump cultist, I'll have to ask one of you, what the fuck???

Yeah Ed - not sure this Musk and the new president is gonna age well either - all I can say is he was a Dem not that long ago so that explains some of his past - as for the future - pretty sure those two will inevitably get tired of stepping on each other’s dicks.

president was a Democrat too. Trump can buy himself sustained favor with the American people buy parking Elon in a corner. He doesn't understand this country, but think he knows what's best. That kind of hubris always goes down in flames, you should hope they part ways soon or the stink will be on trump better than any Democrats could have done.

Eliminating the Department of Education when most of it's budget and support goes to red states. The top 20 users of this depart are all red states, except New Mexico. Remember those North Carolinians who were too far off the beaten path to receive early FEMA support? Imagine when those schools start closing. Sure, homeschool is an option but let's be real, are those parents who not educated, and work hard most of the day able to do that? And, don't all citizens have a right to a public education? Some rural areas the schools have already consolidated and doing so further will certainly leave a majority of the ******* behind.

How do you feel about his own staff getting citizen records from Treasury and IRS? Or him creating his own 'security' ******* with federal jurisdiction and protection?

While you guys are applauding the deportation show, a South African is wiping his ass with our Constitution, with your implied support.

Honestly not sure how I feel about Musk being involved in the government the way he is - but as far as the Department of Education I believe the plan is to return control to the states.

Curious though what you think of your socialist mayor Brandon Johnson - do you like him ???

All education is controlled locally, they just can't fund it all locally. You ever hear of school boards and local property taxes that support the schools? That's local control.

There is a lot of dark blue in those red states.

Curious to know why you call him a socialist?
I don't like outsiders, including suburbanites running my city. Rahm Emanuel was the only successful one to do so. The woman from Ohio was a flop, but did enforce the shelter in place rules during the pandemic quite well, and now this kid, who's about my age, came in from the suburbs to play Chicago politics and now the heat is on. You know who else don't like outsiders in the fifth floor office of city hall? City workers and the 50 Aldermen that make up our council. He's being put through the ringer in a true test by fire. Considering what he's dealing with, he hasn't fucked up too bad, he does stand up to Trump, and had a short tiff with the Governor (also a Chicago guy, who lives in my neighborhood- well, I live in his, they've been here and rich since the 1870s or 80s.), he showed some old school hutzpah that got him some points. We will see. (he and governor are cool now, Trump brought them together)

This city is not like NY or Boston or LA. We put you through the ringer daily and only love you when you're gone or we win a championship. You need to be tough. I grew up in this as my parents were involved in local politics before I went of to DC to find my own way. I've been alive for old man Daley, Jane, Harold, Daley II, Rahm, Lori and now Brandon. He's suffering the bruises of normal local politics, time will tell if he survives.

Hey can someone explain to me how tariffs work? Where there has been success and failures ?
USA says "learn to compete" but they can't compete against argentinian agroindustrial products! Ha ha! Imagine against China or India. It shows the hipocrisy in USA.

Trump wants another countries pay for his foolishness... We are tired of Trump. I prefer China for commercial topics. They had never treated like trash (Donald, yes).

I characterized him as a socialist because I’ve heard him referenced as such many times and read that he’s backed up by the DSA - I’ve also seen that his approval rating is an abysmal 14% so I wondered what you thought cause ya live there.
