Most members announce their locale when they put up an offer to meet; how else would you know where to find someone? Then it's just standard internet rules of chatting, emailing, phone/cam usage, screening out fakes and psychos and being careful when or if you ever want to meet up in person.

I don't care for online dating or internet match making too much. That said, if that is not your aim why else would you want to find people local to you from this site?
