Stress and sex: a poll

Hi all,

I remember reading somewhere that stress affects the sex drive differently for men and women. I'm just curious whether most folks agree with this. I know, for myself, when I'm under stress (mostly at work), I have zero interest in sex. What's your experience?

When I am stressed my interest in sex tends to fluctuate, my mind isn't focused on or distracted by sex, because I'm focused on the "problem". But sex can allow me to exercise my stresses & allows me to open up & relax. So I guess sex can be like a "relief valve" to be used when too much pressure is building up. That's my take anyway.
