No amount of oils or chemicals can undo the damage from the sun, might minimize it.

True but smoothness of the skin is still a matter of hydration. Melanin effects how well your skin handles exposure to sunlight. Typically the more melanin you have the less sun damage you take. Also helps you age better.

Yes, religiously. Tea tree oil is really good too.
