Nightclubs in Montreal

Hello,

Looking for suggestions on the Best night club for Haitian/African Music in Montreal, Canada.

we are planning on going to a club on August 19th and potentially find a hookup if the stars align.


All suggestions are appreciated.

PS. Looking for Montreal Area + suburbs. Not looking to drive to the U.S or to a different province.

Club Essence or aka Essence Restaurant bar lounge, near Mcgill and Maisonneuve. Good atmosphere and music when I went there last summer. Don't go clubbing anymore truth be told, but the club goers were mature and those that weren't, the bouncers handle them quickly
