How far is buffalo? Would appreacite your recommendations there so I can check them out online prior. Thanks!

20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. You can see most of what there is to see on US side within a day or two. Our parks are a source of pride, but the major attractions drag people over to the Canadian side. Plenty of gambling available too if you want to visit casinos.

Willing to stay in Buffalo if anyone can recommend a place there. A hotel with a good bar/club would be great but something near the hotel will suffice.

Downtown: Lots of places; you can stay at the Seneca Casino's hotel. Or Adam's Mark Hotel, DoubleTree - both price-reasonable.
Airport area: hotels are reasonably prices, a few strip clubs within driving distance. But not much boogy-woogie
Niagara Falls: a few nice hotels, very great nightlife right across the border (you'll need a passport/Global Entry to cross)

And finally: I can join the party!

The Seneca Casino in the falls allows you to go the Canadian side which might have more of a party scene or you can stay at the Seneca in downtown buffalo and drive 25 minutes to the falls. but then you are partying in Buffalo. There is weird swing Club at the back of one of the porn shops on Saturdays I hear. PM me.

There is an Embassy Suites and a Hyatt Regency near Chippewa St. in Buffalo too. You are much better off staying in downtown Buffalo and driving the 25 minutes to Niagara Falls for a visit. Unless you plan to stay on the Canadian side which is far more active.

Wife and I have been discussing going to Niagara Falls in august would like to know where to go to meet BBC friends
