New York dance clubs

I'm posting this for a friend of mine. She's a white girl from the midwest and she wants to go to a dance club and get hit on by a couple of black guys but she's kind of intimidated (first time).

I know about some of the bigger clubs but can any of the women here suggest a smaller place she'd feel more comfortable with. Thanks
