@Wife4Black77 - I'm surprised your struggling with this question where you've already stated the risk factors involved.

Have you never heard the saying "don't eat where you ******* at"? Meet with someone away and out of your town to mitigate the risks, simple and plain and post a message on your profile to let local men know you will not arrange any meetings with anyone who may live within a 50mile radius to you. That will solve both problems and help you avoid the temptation of meeting with this guy at the gym.

Mac-man provided a good suggestion too. I've met many couples who have set up play dates far away from the critical eye of their small town small-minded nosy neighbors where everyone knows each other's business and it works out very successful for them.
