How would I approach an older women that's teaches at my college?? or just in general I normally just go up too them and wing it with

Normally the best way to get to know someone is to strike up a conversation with them. In any type of educational setting the woman could be putting her career in jeopardy by doing anything beyond having a conversation about a class she is teaching. Is she teaching a class you take? If so proceed very cautiously. Having a professor pissed at you is not a good thing, doing something that gets her fired isn't good either
