Unfortunately a direct conversation on the subject would not be an effective way of bringing my wife the experience she so deserves. I have to get her to bring up the subject or have it brought up by a friend or some way other than me directly saying it. I am certainly ready for a conversation and will capitalize on any opportunity to push it that direction, but it is way too so in, as we have just come back to a good place in our relationship (except for the sex part, and that's next).
