Has anyone been and had good experiences? Any suggestions? Thinking about a hedo day pass too...is it worth it?
Do you have to have a passport to go to Jamaica ?

I don't recall if it is mandatory but we took ours.
haven't been in a few years... but we went several times and all we needed were drivers Lic and voters registration card

we have gone to Montego Bay.... Kingston.... really liked Montego bay.... we stayed at one place twice... according to the "stats" there it is/was high priced... but after paying big bucks in Bahamas and a few other places we thought it was actually the cheapest... because we were paying for the room....all your food and it also had a little place by the pool that would cook a hamburger with banana chips that was open 24hours...... ocean right across the street with windsurf lessons ... any and all kinds of options.... all inclusive... you could get rooms for about half the price.... but with everything that came with this package just seemed cheaper!
AND they have taxi drivers right out front of the hotel 24/7... have the Mrs. ask where the fun "local" bars are.... and there are several... which pretty much fit right into what this site is all about!.... they are off the beaten path so you need to ask and have a taxi to get there... but the 2 we went to were pretty much all IR and hub sits with his eyes bugged out trying to catch all the action

Hedo or Sandals anyone have experience of getting BBC. I know everyone says Hedo but be truthful about both.

We went to HEDO as I said and it is very truthful. It was am amazing time and we met several great BBC gentlemen who I enjoyed immensely .

We know that the thread is called Jamaica.. however we are planning to go to the Carribean and have lokkede quite a bit on The Dominican Republic. Does anybody have any experiences from here?
