It's nice when people go ahead and admit there's a problem...

Its not porn but the sex industry as a whole that see black men as something different. Just in porn its actresses charging more to do a "normal" sex scene with a black man or saying that they won't work with black men because of attraction (implying that they are attracted to all the other guys that they have worked with and all black guys are the same and their is some universally unattractive about black men). Then just go to the ******* pages of some sites the sheer number of ads that specifically state NO BLACK MEN would make your head spin and the kicker is that many of them claim right in the headline that they are open minded or they point out that it is simply their preference and often include a sorry not racist or prejudice line. The strip clubs are even worse where unless you are an known athlete with an entourage or flashing a wad of cash the girls will ignore you.

When someone with some clout in the sex industry actually calls out the race problems it is nice. But like the OP I would not hold my breath about it leading to any significant change, there is too much money to be gained and lost with the system being the way it is.

It is a shame that people have to put up with discrimination in any way. But I think it is up to you what you put up with and what you approve. In other words, if you don't approve discrimination, it will not be tolerated. I have seen the same kinds of ads. Just don't answer them.
