Curious to know why so many black men prefer white women

As I am on this learning journey I want to know what the appeal is from a black man’s perspective, this will help me how best to play into that as well.

A simple answer is numbers. White people make up about 60 percent of this country. So, if you are a Black man who says he only dates Black women, you're cutting a whole group out.

As a previous poster said, white women tend to be more sexually open-minded. I'm not saying you can't find Black women freaks, but it will be difficult finding a sister who is okay with you banging other women. Not impossible, just more difficult.

Also, up until the last 50-odd years, Black men and white women were deliberately kept apart, sometimes on pain of death. So there is some pent-up frustration, you know the forbidden fruit thing, especially for white women.

And to tell the truth, interracial couplings are still not wholly accepted, even in a liberal state like California.

I think the initial question is a bit faulty. As the data doesn't support the original statement that "so many black men prefer white women".
The vast majority of black men end up with black women. Only 7% of marriages are black men and white women. 7%.
Sometimes(and I can be as guilty of this as anyone else) those of us involved in this particular aspect of the lifestyle tend be in spaces IRL and online where the interracial aspect of the lifestyle is amplified and that's all we see/interact with. Accordingly, when we're outside of those spaces, they continue to shape how we see/view things. And that's understandable, why wouldn't what you're surrounded by influence how you see things? Makes perfect sense. But sometimes how we perceive things isn't how they actually are. IMHO.

Some women prefer black men because is simply a preference and have their own motives, just like some white men would prefer a non-white person or some Latino men prefer Asian women over any other women.
There isn't an explanation if that is what you are hoping to find out
