Considering getting into this, but hesitant

I've considered this lifestyle for a while now for both me and my girlfriend, but she doesn't know and I'm afraid to tell her. How have some of you introduced your SO to the idea? I'm all for loaning her to another man but I don't want to scare her away completely, or think I'm weird.
