Chicago-Labor Day Weekend

Wife and I will be in Chicago this weekend for a show and dinner. We will be downtown juts off Mich. Ave. We plan on going out for drinks after the show. What are some nice places to find some good music and drinks? I would also love to find someone to show us a good time or come back to our room with us.
