The guy then dropped off the face of the earth and she never heard from him again. Since then she met, fell in love with and married a great guy. About 4 months ago her husband's friend was chatting with someone online who he assumed was a woman. He asked for a picture of her and they sent him- you guessed it- that picture of my friend that she sent that guy a few years ago. She had to explain to her husband that she wasn't online now looking for guys. He did believe her so no harm done. But they decided to do a google search on that picture and it's all over the internet, on countless dating sites, bulletin boards etc. And this was just a harmless picture of her smiling face. Imagine if it had been a naked pic.

The verification system on sdc is pretty nice, it's people who verifies others. (On a free site) it will be fakers verifying each others but on paid sites that can work pretty fine.
