An Essay on Words..Recently one of the couples on blacktowhite.net (CuckoldCouple) posted a thread called Evocative Images. All the pics posted were of great quality showing Interracial couples in various stages of lovemaking and sex. One of the responders used the word ‘sluts’ in his response to the pics. It was inappropriate and reflected a limited view of women.

Black to White has been an interesting web site, and has started to evolve into something more then just amateur porn viewing and posting of pics. It appears to be actually growing up, in the sense that the thrust and general level of content and discourse has started to rise above the level of just so-called ‘trash talk’.

Having been watching and reading the posts, I have come away impressed with the intelligence and awareness of the folks who are regulars on the site. In addition, one Member (Mariposa Blanca) has taken the time to start a blog for folks new to the lifestyle, and is trying to give them a comfort level above the more commercial porn sites. BtW is actually becoming adult.

With that observation, I am wondering if it is time to think about modifying our language in the description of the women. We appear to have more women and couples who are joining and looking forward to interaction on an adult IR platform. I fully recognize that all of us come from different experiences, belief systems and backgrounds. The one constant is the fact that when a woman chooses to share her body with a man, whether he be Black or White or whatever, she has provided a gift to him that cannot be duplicated.

The question being raised...is it time for the Brothers of Beta Beta Chi to modify their language on the public threads and forums and stop describing the women as ‘sluts’ , bitches, or cum buckets? This is not an effort to censor the trash talk done between a man and a woman who is chatting with him on the forum, but more to think twice in our descriptions of women who have various levels of interaction with IR and significant differences in how they share their gifts. Yes, there are women who enjoy the so-called “over the top” experience, and they have made that choice to explore their sexuality to the limit with numerous groups in various settings. There are others who are more conservative and wish to only share their gifts with one man or maybe a second. Lastly, there is the woman who, with her husband’s approval, shares her gifts willingly, but also on her terms and conditions. In no way should the men of Beta Beta Chi denigrate or degrade them in any way on the forums or threads. What is done between a BBC and the lady in private is their own form of play and no questions there.

So members, male and female, please feel free to comment or respond. The above essay is only being posed as a rhetorical question. As we grow in numbers and attract more adults and couples, which should be our goal, we might want to think about how we men of Beta Beta Chi are being perceived, if the only form of communication we use is to refer to our female members or newbies as ‘sluts’ or bitches.

Yet another interesting, thought-provoking and rational commentary, OSP. I will definitely add as a blog contribution in the near future. (Just added one from 4chuen19zip earlier, so want to spread things out.) :)

Love the article. In all of our experiences terms that denigrate women have never been used. Having said that, we are very discerning when it comes to selecting a man to make our fantasy come true. Tired of men being referred to as studs, bulls and stallions while woman are sluts, bitches and other words I don't even want to write. My husband always comments on how sexy and beautiful I look when I'm with another man, never anything degrading, but then he's the one who usually initiates our experiences. How about another article on the "useless whimpy, small-dicked" husband. I also doubt that this is all that accurate. It certainly doesn't describe my husband by any means. Our sessions are typically threesomes with my husband included at some point, although he does like to sit back and watch on occasion. Thanks OSP!

Aptly said Jill!
My ex was a Marine and one of the strongest, toughest men I'd ever met. He was built for sex and the angle of his dangle topped out at just over 9". He initiated more than one encounter with a few women from time to time as well as a few of the guys on his softball team. He was kind and considerate and boy did he get my juices flowing! It's a shame that our marriage didn't work out but that's not to say we won't be having a tumble between the sheets. I like where your head's at Jill...not often you find a savvy, well spoken, eloquent woman on a site like this. :)

Hi Jill,

Was already thinking of tackling something along those lines in the future for my blog, examine things from both extremes, so to speak. :)

But, then again, maybe I should let someone else tackle it. Maybe OSP should start a blog himself?

Practically everyone comes here with an ideal as to what they desire and how they, themselves, wish to be perceived ... whether it is a white couple looking for a strong, "take charge" black male, or a black male looking for a white female hookup, or someone wanting to play out some type of kinky blacktowhite fantasy, or just post & collect pics regarding the site topic. blacktowhite has gone out of its way to provide appropriate sections to its website where people can go to post to their particular likings, and to make their visits here enjoyable. I think their idea of moving the bisexual stuff to one section excellent. I wouldn't even have a problem with them having a homosexual section ... although I wouldn't go there, I don't profess that a hetrosexual relationship is the most appropriate for everyone. The big problem is, however, getting everyone to use the appropriate sections instead of crowding into the General Discussion.
I don't like the use of racial slurs or degrading titles used on anyone ... women or men, and except for one individual that I've had confrontratons with, I've refrained from their use. However, getting back to those appropriate sections, some people enjoy the humiliating use of slur words, etc, and that's fine, but the General Discussion should be a protected section specific to respectful conversations about blacktowhite relationships. Mac :)

In response to this, blacktowhite.net has a mission statement to ALL of its members which will address the "homosexual" topic. "Male-male" contact, postings, engagements etc., are forbidden except involving the wife of a couple or the female member of the boyfriend-girlfriend, attached couple; which MUST be initiated by the FEMALE. This is to reduce the confusion of this Site's intent, help couples be aware that there IS a method of engagement and approach to the black men in the community and to reduce the incedents of fakes getting through (or to make fakes more easily to detect).

As far as the theme of derogatory "name calling"; first, our Site's Forum Rules address the required behavior and demeanor expected of EVERY member within our community, just below number 18; secondly, there is a forum for "extreme interracial activity" for the "x(tra)"-intense enthusiast, only IF you can handle that; lastly, since the Site's posting/forum rules already address what is acceptable for behavior, language, posting and thread creation within our community, suffice it to state that as members assess their respective reasons for being here that each of our expectations are as realistic as possible, stated clearly in our respective "personal data" sections of our profiles to be presented on our respective "Information" tabs and that if the white female happens to find herself in the company of the Stud, Stallion or Bull of her (and her husband/partners), choosing, I hope she tells the brother how she wants her sex, "soft", "medium", "rough" or "extreme"!

Thanks for your concern Mac. Please review the Announcements, mission statement and Site's Rules, for many of them were inspired by and created by your arguments in which you engaged with the gentleman you referred to in your post. He DID/DOES have excellent ideas without the motive of being a "hero", but with the concerns for the members within the community and the Site in general, in mind.

this is rather interesting. you have clarified my expectations. as a new member, I was getting somewhat confused to some topics. I totally agree to respecting women and have even refused women in the past who insisted to be harshly degraded verbally. I am new to this life style and rather intrigued by it. and hope to learn the protocol as I watch the conversations here.

I may not speak for all the women here, but I think the base of mutual respect is always a good place to start.

Welcome! :)

Excellent commentary OSP!

Thank you for articulating BtW's "transitioning" aspirations.

This essay was well-said and needed to be expressed in our community!

Welcome chocolate thunder! I only hope that future post throughout the community provide not only clarification but also more FEMALES, so that each of us can comfortably introduce ourselves; participate in creative, engaging and stimulating conversations (both publicly and privately), and ultimately lead to the culmination of actual, real, safe, healthy and honest face-to-face meetings between and among menbers (what I would like to refer to as a "chocolate-vanilla swirl"), black men and white women (and husbands), having a mutual respect and enjoyment of each other to enhance the white woman's interracial sexual exploration and experience!

Let me know how to help make your experience here more enjoyable!

Welcome!
