    Russia hasn't always been a good neighbor to Poland, neither has Germany. A lot of hard feelings that for some run very deep and these are wounds that very likely will never completely heal.

    True enough. Full disclosure, I majored in History in college and modern European history is my favorite. I'm by no means an expert, but I have read quite a bit and I enjoy conversing with others who enjoy history.

    I think, if not Russia, Poland was be part of Prussia and Austria and Russia, and Russia pursued softer policy, than Austria or Germany in relation to the Polish population
