    Bit confused at the ire that this piece is invoking. Undoubtedly, the reporting and methodology of such surveying is going leave a lot to be desired, but the piece says that 87% of white women have *fantasized* about having sex with black men, not have had sex with black men.

    I would put the low preference for interracial marriage down to external societal pressures. It's still a relatively taboo area, even today. We women are very susceptible to what other's think.
